The Prince Charles Hospital

The hospital provides services in cardiac care, rehabilitation, palliative care, thoracic, mental health, emergency, orthopaedic and aged care is the largest state-of-the-art cardiac hospital in Australia.

One of the central challenges involved  for QDNE  was keeping the hospital operational during works. The goal was to maintain the constant provision of its health services and patient care, including vital ambulance and emergency facilities.

Hi Richard,

The Nurse Unit Manager of Central Sterilising Department at TPCH, wanted to express how impressed she was with the efforts and professional approach the boys took when installing the Wi-Fi cabling in her department.

They understood the strict protocols required for this area and adhered to them and also went the extra mile to seek her out and ensure she was happy with how they’d left the area.

Kind Regards

Hi Belinda,

I would like you to please pass on my thanks to the company installing the data cabling for the wireless.

These young boys have been amazing, we hardly know they are here. They have managed to keep out of our way, keep their equipment tidy and out of the corridors, they are respectful of staff and patients and they have kept noise to a minimum – none of these things can be easy for them given the nature of the busy ward environment.  In addition our cleaner states that they fully clean up after themselves and have left her no mess even after their 3rd day here.

They should be commended,
Kind Regards

I just wanted to say that the guys doing the wireless connection work were fantastic.

They were incredibly polite and respectful, they kept us in the loop when they were going to need to be a disturbance and even though they had ladders up etc., they were easy to move around which considering the scale of the job was incredible.  I couldn’t fault them.

I have run a lot of offices over the years and I have never experienced workman coming into a functioning workspace, being so easy to work with.  Please pass on our thanks to them. “

Kind Regards

WIFI cable installers- Level 5 Admin Building

Hi Richard,

I would like to commend the professional way in which the cabling team have worked on level 5 admin building.

As we all know it is a very old building and they are working with extremely old technology and architecture. And ‘hard’ concrete walls to drill through!

The team were always courteous and accommodating for this floors busy business nature. There are many areas which have office space here and I have not heard any concerns to be raised. They always cleaned up and were aware of the staff using the corridor, and always had their safety signs in clear view.

They were working in a difficult situation and we appreciate their professionalism.

Please pass on my thanks to the team and their Supervisors . For a young team, they work very cohesively and professionally.

Well Done

Many Thanks

This was a full site installation of cabling, optic fibre and racking at Gympie Hospital.

Engagement started at understanding business requirements, auditing/design, materials supply, installation, and very careful management into a live environment with project management throughout.

A 12 month project working in an operational hospital takes care and respect from engineers from both a personal and compliancy viewpoint. Patient safety is paramount.

Customer feedback regarding the standard of work shows the dedication, commitment and professionalism of the team on the job.

James Simpson – Maintenance Coordinator affirmed.…

‘Queensland Data worked alongside Gympie Hospital staff for over a year and took on board all issues of working within a hospital, from night works in Theatre to filling out all safety and risk paperwork on a daily basis.’……..

……..‘Within this time both Queensland Data and Nursing staff worked well together, being focused on Patient needs it was common for time schedules being shuffled around and postponed, but nothing was too hard for Queensland Data.’

Mrs Leuwin Ferguson, Director of the Gympie Health Service said…

‘Richard and his team are excellent communicators who take a very professional approach to the work that they do and they engage very effectively with their customers…..’

Wesley Hospital

The Wesley Hospital, located in Auchenflower Brisbane, is part of UnitingCare Health (UCH) which is a not-for-profit private hospital group operated by UnitingCare Queensland. It provides health and community services on behalf of the Uniting Church.

Its growth and development now makes it one of the largest private hospitals in Queensland, offering a wide range of clinical services in modern facilities and employing more than 2,000 staff but this growth does not come without challenges.

As a preferred service provider of Telecommunication and Electrical Services, Queensland Data N Electrical continues to assist the engineering staff in meeting these challenges.
